How Matka results are declared on Srinivasa
A behind-the-scenes look at the result-declaration pipeline — how we publish open and close panas within seconds of the official market close.
Srinivasa's results team operates 24×7 through every market window. The moment a market closes officially, the assigned operator enters the open or close pana into our admin panel. Our system then:
1. Validates the pana format and computes the open/close digit (sum mod 10).
2. Locks the result row in the database via a serializable transaction so two operators cannot accidentally overwrite each other.
3. Settles every wager placed in the bid window — winners get credited instantly, losers are marked.
4. Publishes the result to the public chart, the live results panel, and via WebSocket to the mobile app.
The whole pipeline takes 2–3 seconds end to end. Settlement is atomic — once the result is published, every winning ticket is paid before the result row commits.
If we ever publish a result in error, our admin panel allows a single-click revert that reverses every settlement done against that result. Reverts are rare and always followed by a public-facing post explaining what happened.
